3D Mechanical Designer
Wilson-Hurd is looking for an experienced 3D mechanical designer for our Electronic Control Products (ECP) division. This position supports our Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams with mechanical designs, documentation, and graphics utilizing SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Inventor. This individual will also develop and maintain accurate documentation files to the latest specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities include: - Design molded elatomeric and plastic parts - Design fabricated brackets, housings, bezels, and mechanical hardware. - Select and/or specify metals, materials and components. - Develop assembly prints and documentation. - Maintain accurate and current documentation packages
Qualifications include: - Mechanical, molded and machined component design experience. Knowledge of plastic and metal materials and finishes is also preferred. - Expert level knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Inventor. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledgeable and experienced in assembly and manufacturing processes. Electrical and PCB design experience a plus.
Education and experience requirements include: - Minimum of Associate degree in Mechanical Design/Engineering field - Minimum of five years design experience using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software with good working knowledge of fabrications, machining, and molding drawings,

Ink Technician
Wilson-Hurd Mfg is looking for a skilled Ink Technician who is enthusiastic and self-directed to cover all facets of the print lab including litho, roller-coating, and screen-printing. We offer diversity in the Graphics Arts Industry through work with Automotive, Point-of-Purchase, Cosmetic, Nameplate and Electronic Control Products.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a high school education with three years of related experience and extensive background of reflective and transmissive color formation in screen-printing. In addition, a strong knowledge of various color measurement instruments, a good understanding of ink rheology, and experience in color database development is required.
